The IAC opens its doors to the general public on Friday, October 18 at the Mico Convention Centre, Viale Eginardo, 7 – South Entrance

What to expect

Visit the IAC 2024 exhibition and immerse yourself in the world of astronautics thanks to numerous space agencies and companies!

Participants will have the chance to hear the words of experts in both academic and industrial fields regarding space sustainability. Discussions will focus on space technology, economy and exploration with their challenges and possibilities. To conclude this moment, there will be a section dedicated to collect and answer questions and curiosities from the audience.

Experience the immersive journey into space thanks to virtual reality.

Come and share your passion for astronautics during the Meetings with astronauts and the best experts in the field. Participants will have the opportunity to meet the astronauts, having some insights on their experience, take pictures and ask for autographs to recall the experience.

Conference program

The IAC 2024 Public Day will take place on Friday, October 18 in the Auditorium (South Wing, Level +3) from 10:30 to 14:00.  Starting from 14:30 until 16:30 don’t miss the session HANDS ON EXPERIENCES outside Silver Hall (North Wing, Level +2).

Registration

Registration is free of charge.

Important information:

  • the maximum number of admitted participants attending the Public Day is 3000
  • no limited number for the morning session that will be held in the Auditorium from 10:30 to 14:00. The maximum capacity of the Auditorium room is set at 1570 people, therefore, access will be regulated based on the influx of participants and seats will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. We invite you to show up early to guarantee your entry. Once the maximum number of attendees allowed has been reached, it will no longer be possible to access the room.
