The visit includes a tour of the optical laboratories as well as the mechanical workshop where space and ground projects undergo manufacturing, integration, and testing activities.
Qascom:
The visit includes an overview of their technologies concerning GPS and Galileo receivers for satellites and lunar experimentation, Radio Frequency simulators for satellite navigation and LEO-PNT, lunar radiobeacons, and RF monitoring services.
Officina Stellare Space Factory is a leading name worldwide for its capacity to design and manufacture high technology opto-mechanical system instrumentation for the Aerospace, Scientific Research, and Defense-related end-markets.
ThinkQuantum Srl is a start-up, spin-off of the University of Padua, offering complete solutions for cybersecurity and communication systems based on quantum communication technologies. Where Innovation Takes Flight: Involve Space Headquarters Tours
(Como, 15th October)
The tour starts in our modern reception area, where you will be greeted by our team. Here, we will provide an overview of the history of Involve Space and our main achievements in the field of stratospheric missions.
Next, we will proceed to our Research and Development Laboratory, the hub of our innovation. You will have the opportunity to see up close the advanced equipment we use to design and test our stratospheric balloons and scientific payloads.
The next stop will be the Mission Control Room, where we monitor and manage our stratospheric missions in real time. We will show you how we use our Neurostar® AI software to optimize the position and orientation of the stratospheric platforms.
We will then enter the Design and Engineering Office, where our talented team of engineers works on new solutions and improvements. Here you can discover the technical details of our Stratostats® platforms and our LoonHive® project.
We will visit our Collaborative Space, an area dedicated to teamwork and creative sessions. This stimulating environment is fundamental to our collaborative and innovative approach.
The tour will continue to the Production Area, where our stratospheric balloons take shape. You will be able to observe the various stages of the production process and understand how we manage to create custom balloons for different missions.
Finally, we will take you to our Meeting and Conference Room, where we discuss strategies and plan for the future. Here, we will conclude the tour with a Q&A session, where you can further explore your curiosities.

Thales Alenia Space and ALTEC
(Turin, 16th October)
The technical tour will take place at the industrial sites of Thales Alenia Space and ALTEC, where guests will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the innovation and technology of the space industry.
Participants will see up close our Space Home mock-up, a test environment for ergonomics and human habitat design for configurations in LEO (Low Earth Orbit) and deep space. Additionally, they will visit our production facility for the modules of the Commercial Space Station and the future Lunar Gateway, explore Martian terrain, and observe various technologies for robotic and human exploration.
Thales Alenia Space, a joint venture between Thales (67%) and Leonardo (33%), is a global leader in space manufacturing, delivering high-tech solutions for Telecommunications, Navigation, Earth Observation, Environmental Management, Exploration, Science, and Orbital Infrastructures for over 40 years. The Turin site, in particular, is a center of excellence specialized in the production and development of pressurized habitable and logistic modules, space transportation, exploration probes, scientific satellites, orbital infrastructure, robotic exploration, and On-Orbit Servicing.
ALTEC (Aerospace Logistics Technology Engineering Company) is Italy’s center of excellence for providing engineering and logistics services to support the operations and utilization of the International Space Station and the development and implementation of planetary exploration missions.

- Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies (IRCA S.p.A.): The visit will feature a presentation of the company, with a special focus on its products for the Space sector. Participants will tour the ESA-qualified production lines, testing facilities, and clean room.
- Future Farming/Innovation Technology Infrastructure: The tour will showcase the newly inaugurated Future Farming Initiative building. Visitors will have access to the research labs and will be guided through the 8 domains of applied research, emphasizing applications related to the space domain.
Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies (IRCA S.p.A) is an Italian manufacturer of flexible heaters, qualified by ESA for space applications since 1992. The flexible heaters designed and manufactured by Zoppas Industries are integrated into small to large satellites, extraterrestrial habitat modules, launch vehicles, Ground Stations, and Ground Testing Equipment.
Future Farming/Innovation Technology Infrastructure involves collaborating with Nature to innovate and create. It represents a partnership with Nature to shape the future in a journey of discovery at the intersection of Technology and Biology.
